Fettuccine Alfredo
1 12 oz-16oz package of cooked fettuccine noodles
1 stick butter ( Not margarine)
1/2 pint whipping cream
3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (I use more like 1 cup)
Salt and Pepper
Melt butter in large sauce pan over medium heat. Add cheese, whipping cream, salt and pepper. Cook and stir often until cheese is melted and sauce is slightly thicker.
You can either add the noodles to sauce or toss before serving or serve noodles with sauce spooned over. I prefer the latter as it heats up better for leftovers.
